The 38degrees Program has specific features which make it a unique program:

• Emphasis on partnership
  The program is designed to transcend the existing relational boundaries between donors and recipients. Educational-partners can become closely connected with the life of their student and step into their world. Educational-partners will receive updates on school reports, comments from teachers and the ongoing progress of the student. Our aim is to help our educational-partners understand their positive impact by showing them real and tangible results.
• Our unique communication portal
  Instead of using the medium of a conventional hand written letter, educational-partners will be able to communicate with their partnered-student online via a web-based interface. Employing this novel system reduces the administrative costs of the 38degrees Program. It also reflects the forward-thinking and creative approach of Beyond Eight.
• Focus on sustainability
  Our organisation recognises that funding a student’s education is only the first step towards accessing the opportunities offered by a strong educational foundation. Therefore, the 38degrees Program will provide mentoring and tuition support to ensure that the education received by partnered-students has a long-term continuing impact.
• A cost minimisation approach
  We aim to conduct all our activities in the most cost efficient way possible. Our commitment is to direct a minimum of 80 per cent of all educational-partner’s funds directly to the partnered-student’s education.
