38Degrees Home

The 38degrees Educational Program (‘the 38degrees Program’) provides students entering high school with an opportunity to continue their education beyond government-subsidised levels.

The 38degrees Program is open to ALL students in participating schools. The local community prioritises students according to their economic circumstances and academic performance. The program gives students who are dedicated to their studies the chance to continue their education uninhibited by their economic circumstances.

The overarching aim of the 38degrees Program is to provide access to good education for disadvantaged students in developing countries, since education is a catalyst to breaking the cycle of poverty.

The 38degrees Program is established by Beyond Eight Ltd. ('Beyond Eight') an Australian not-for-profit organisation, recognised as a Charitable Institution under Australian law, with the requisite fundraising licences to conduct fundraising activities. The program is running in Ghana and Kenya in 2009/2010.
